Located just 3.3km away from the esteemed Mårbacka Minnesgård, the home of Selma Lagerlöf and a museum dedicated to the first woman awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1909, this property promises an enriching and relaxing vacation experience.
The Birth of SELMAS GÅRD
Developed in the summer 2023, our team worked diligently to work with the identity design for this property, which offering all-year-round both lodging and house rentals. We have seamlessly blended the elements of comfortable, cost-effectiveness, and closeness to nature to create a getaway into the identity designs.
Creating a Unique Identity
Our first task was to create a unique identity for SELMAS GÅRD, something that reflected the property’s core values and its serene, natural location. We developed a logotype and a corporate color scheme that was in sync with the environment. And the real magic happened when we chose the Geranium (Pelargon Mårbacka) as the symbolic icon. We learned that this hardy plant, which blooms year after year, gave SELMAS GÅRD a cozy and rural feel. We hope that just like the Geranium, visitors will return to SELMAS GÅRD repeatedly, season after season, year after year.
Our Services
Our responsibilities extended beyond just developing the property identity. At the client’s request, we also provided some document designs and interior photography, capturing the property’s essence in each shot. Additionally, we were responsible for developing the homepage and devising a social media plan. The client’s satisfaction with our work was the biggest reward for us.
Growing Demand
We are thrilled to see the growing demand for SELMAS GÅRD. Its proximity to one of Sunne’s landmarks, Mårbacka Minnesgård, certainly adds to its appeal. We believe that this success will not only benefit the tourism industry but will also have a positive impact on the local economy.
